Summary of Talk: "This talk will present our recent work exploiting in vivo chemogenetic approaches to dynamically modulate redox stress in cardiovascular cells and tissues. These studies establish a causal role for oxidative stress in the pathobiology of heart failure. Chemogenetic approaches permit the development of powerful and robust animal models that facilitate the analysis of novel therapeutic approaches to prevent and treat heart failure."
