The Chicken or the Egg Question of Oxidative and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stresses in Cancer Therapy

Dr. Mikhail Nikiforov is a Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo NY, USA. He received his B.S/ M.S. degrees in virology from the Moscow State University and a Ph.D. in mammalian genetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Nikiforov research focuses on mechanisms regulating cellular response to oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stresses, and novel therapeutic approaches utilizing vulnerability of tumor cells to these types of stress.

Dr. Nikiforov will speak about The Chicken or the Egg Question of Oxidative and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stresses in Cancer Therapy - Intertwining effects of ROS qnd ER stress at the 17th International Conference on Oxidative Stress Reduction, Redox Homeostasis and Antioxidants which will be held in Paris, at Institut Pasteur on June 13-15, 2016.
