Tuning Oxidative Metabolism and Stress Responses through Small RNA Biogenesis

Dr. Marcelo Alves da Silva MoriDr. Marcelo Alves da Silva Mori, from the University of Campinas, Brazil will join us this year to present his most recent findings on "Tuning Oxidative Metabolism and Stress Responses through Small RNA Biogenesis".

He will be discussing how small RNAs have been shown to play a role in aging, stress response and metabolism. He will present his latest advances in the understanding of how the small RNA processing pathway is physiologically regulated, how it controls stress response and oxidative metabolism and how it can be modulated by pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions to mitigate metabolic diseases and prolong lifespan in model organisms .

Stay tuned to know more about this subject this June.
